The predecessor of the School of Computer and Information was the Department of Radio Engineering, which was founded in 1958. In 1996, the school was formed by the former Department of Computer and Information, Computing Center and Microcomputer Institute, and was renamed the School of Computer and Information. In 2018, the School of Artificial Intelligence was established, and the School of Artificial Intelligence and the School of Computer and Information are one entity.
